1966 Ford F-100 Custom Pickup with Matching Soda Shop Travel Trailer

$79,900

Offered for Sale by Florida Classic Car Sales

This one-of-a-kind custom 1966 Ford F-100 combines classic truck styling with modern performance, handcrafted details, and a uniquely matched travel trailer inspired by a vintage roadside soda shop. Built as a coordinated showpiece, this distinctive pair features custom fabrication, adjustable air suspension, and eye-catching two-tone finishes throughout.

The F-100 is powered by a fuel-injected 406ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, a shift kit, and a Ford 9-inch rear end. Extensive chassis modifications include a Mustang II-style independent front suspension, tubular control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, front disc brakes, and a triangulated four-link rear suspension. Both the truck and trailer feature adjustable air suspension systems, adding to their custom stance and overall presentation.

The truck's Styleside body is finished in green with a satin clearcoat, complemented by white bumpers, contrasting tailgate lettering, and red-finished 15-inch steel wheels. Additional exterior details include dual side mirrors, clearance lights, a receiver hitch, and charging ports integrated into the rear bumper. The tires were replaced in preparation for the sale. Some cracking paint is present around the drip rails, and additional cosmetic imperfections should be reviewed in the accompanying photographs.

Inside the cab, cream and distressed brown two-tone upholstery extends across the seats, door panels, and headliner. The interior features aftermarket air conditioning, a tilt steering column, a two-tone steering wheel, billet hardware, a Lokar shifter, and a retro-style digital media receiver. Custom Dolphin instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer displays approximately 300 miles accumulated during the build; total vehicle mileage is unknown.

Under the hood, the fuel-injected 406ci Chevrolet V8 is showcased with pinstriped engine-compartment dress panels. Long-tube headers feed into a dual exhaust system, while an aluminum radiator provides engine cooling. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through the three-speed automatic transmission and 9-inch rear end.

The truck's custom chassis and cargo area feature a modified frame, tubbed rear wheel wells, and a raised cargo floor finished with wood slats secured by polished runners. A removable access panel provides entry to the air suspension components and battery.

Custom Matching Travel Trailer

Completing this package is a custom-fabricated travel trailer inspired by a 1969 Alpine Sprite Camper. Its two-tone exterior is accented by hand-applied pinstriping and copper-finished trim, creating a coordinated appearance alongside the truck. The trailer's powder-coated beige frame incorporates a Dexter axle, a four-link suspension arrangement, and adjustable air springs.

Constructed using aluminum sheet and 2-inch square tubing, the trailer features several distinctive exterior amenities, including a lantern-style side light, brackets for a removable awning, and an electric trailer jack. A Coca-Cola-themed exterior enclosure conceals the air conditioning unit, air pump, and battery.

Inside, the trailer recreates the atmosphere of a vintage soda shop. Beadboard wall paneling, wood countertops and flooring, green cabinetry, and copper tile accents establish the retro-inspired interior. Two stools accompany the counter area, while a sink and a selection of appliances provide additional functionality. A jukebox-style façade houses a CD audio system, and the banquette seating converts into a sleeping surface.
